- Ms. Funke Opeke – C.E.O. Main One Technologies Ltd. More than 25years post graduate experience in Electrical Electronics and Telecommunications. Main One was launched to build and operate a submarine cable system which will connect countries in West and Central Africa with each other and connect in Europe with other existing cable systems linking the Americas and Asia. She brings to the board, great entrepreneurial skills
- Dr. Bola Oboh – Associate Professor of Cell Biology and Deputy Director, University of lagos, Lagos, Nigeria.
- Dr. Dupe Fasanya – A Dental Practitioner in the UK, with over 15years post graduate experience. She recently got the Nascot Wood School, UK to patrner with the FSD/Smart Kids Project by donating old educational materials.
- Esther Lawrence – A educationist with over 50years experience spanning the UK and Nigeria. She brings to the board, good counsel and experience on administrative issues and vocational training particularly.
- Mrs. Omowale Ogunrinde – Executive Director / Coordinator.
Omowale founded the Foundation for Skills Development in 2003 after a scene she witnessed of idle youths in a restaurant, one afternoon. She has been able to attract friends, partners, advisors and an enviable board to the work of FSD. She holds a B.Sc Demography and Social Statistics (1984) from the University of Ife, an MBA (1990) from the University of Lagos and a PGDE (1998) from the University of Lagos.
She worked in the banking industry for 10years, before setting up her own business in 1995. Her experience ranges from marketing, administration, human resources, accounting, to educational administration. She has overtime, acquired practical vocational skills.
FSD has a versatile and well-rounded team of advisors; comprising of social workers, diplomats, educationists, lawyers and business women.
To assist in this work are professional trainers who are well qualified and practical oriented.
