By the end of my 6th month, I had qualified to write the NTC Modular exam and by the end of my course I got a job with ‘Mama Cass Restaurant’ – one of the best restaurants in Nigeria. “ My name is Mrs. Nnoma Okechukwu. I came to the center to attend the ‘Preparing Leaders and Grooming Talents’ Free Training for young unemployed female graduates. Initially I was skeptical, because in Nigeria, there is no free lunch. We were told to attend three sessions. By the end of the 1st session, I was a totally new person, with a focus, a goal and a mission to accomplish great things. By the end of session 2, I had repackaged myself and before the 3rd session, I had earned myself a job with the SOS village. “My name is Chinwe, I came for the Free training on ‘Discovering yourself’. I thought there would be hidden charges, but there were none. In fact they gave us Free drinks and snacks. I truly discovered myself and resigned my job the following month to start my own ‘Crèche”. I had five children registered in the first week. In my first month, I was already earning more than twice, what my employers had been paying me. Thank you FSD, I am a new person.” - Chinwe
